Waterbear Microscope stores the details you submit so a person can assess and respond to your observation request.
What we collect
We store the sample, observation conditions, desired result, budget, optional email address, and the time the request was sent. We do not publish requests or contact details.
How we use it
We use request details only to assess feasibility, safety, and possible follow up. A short lived keyed network identifier is used to limit repeated submissions. Raw network addresses are not stored by this form.
Retention and access
Requests are kept for up to 12 months and then removed during later request processing. Only project operators with database access can see them. This website has no public request listing or read API.

Providing an email is optional. Without it, we cannot send an individual reply. A request is not a booking and no payment is taken.
